Mobile app for energy supplier companies

The development of this tool allows energy providers to send notifications to users during service interruptions, avoiding a large number of calls and complaints. This way, companies ensure the communication channel, because in spite of the power outage, cellphones remain active, and at the same time, they have a means to reach users directly, in real time and without extra costs, beyond the emergency.

Being present at critical moments, using technology accessible to users, results in the enhancement of service quality.

During power outages, users often feel frustrated or upset because they don't know what is going on. We aim to improve this situation through an effective and low-cost solution: a cell phone app that notifies end users, in real time, about the contingency and the restoration of electricity service.

The application has an intuitive and simple interface, since it was designed based on real processes. Users can choose which alerts they want to receive, by geographical area and by type of service. On the other hand, providers, in addition to the alerts, can send institutional information, due dates, activities and share news.

When there is an outage, the provider uploads it to the system, and chooses the mass notification option in the control panel. All users who have the app installed receive the notice right away.

It is currently operating in the Energy Cooperatives of Bariloche, Zárate, Saladillo and Pergamino.
